Victorian Constable's Truncheon

This style of truncheon is typical of the high quality piece produced by the firm Parker of London.

This piece is stamped with the company details 'Parker, 233 Holborn' dating it between 1842 and 1877.

Victorian Police Truncheon

This truncheon is identical to those produced by Parker of London.

However Parker was not the only maker and this piece does not bear the usual name stamp in the end of the handle.

This was purchased as auction in Essex and may originate from that county.
